The Department of Biology, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Diponegoro University (UNDIP), held an International General Lecture on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, as part of its International Teaching Fellowship program. The event featured Dr. Muhammad Fadhil Syukri Ismail, Senior Lecturer from the Department of Aquaculture, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), who delivered a presentation titled “Marine Aquaculture and Sustainability: Innovations in Feeding and Environmental Management.”
The lecture was attended by biology students, faculty members, and academic staff, focusing on the latest innovations in sustainable aquaculture. Dr. Fadhil presented various eco-friendly feed technologies, waste management strategies, and applied marine ecological approaches. He highlighted the importance of integrating ecological knowledge with modern aquaculture practices to ensure long-term sustainability of marine food production systems.
The session was moderated by Rizki Sandhi Titisari, M.Si., and hosted by Rasyidah Fauzia A., M.Si. An engaging Q&A segment allowed students to directly interact with the guest speaker and discuss real-world applications of marine ecology in tropical aquaculture systems.
