Malang – A proud achievement was secured by Nasywaa Ensa Kautsar, an undergraduate student of Biology at Diponegoro University, who won first place in the 2025 Kapolres Malang Paragliding Championship. The competition was held over three days, from Friday to Sunday (February 21–23, 2025), at the Bukit Waung Paragliding Tourist Site, Modangan Beach, Sumberoto Village, Donomulyo District, Malang Regency.

This prestigious event was attended by 135 paragliding athletes from various regions in Indonesia and served as the opening round of the five-series East Java League this year. Nasywaa delivered an outstanding performance in the U23 Women’s Accuracy Category, surpassing her competitors from various clubs and regions with exceptional technique and consistent flights throughout the competition.

Beyond being a platform for showcasing athletic ability, the championship also aimed to strengthen the synergy between the Malang Police Department, local government, and the community through sports and tourism development. The event was lively, supported enthusiastically by spectators and the local paragliding community.

Nasywaa’s success is not only a personal triumph but also a testament to the fact that UNDIP Biology students excel not only in academics but also in non-academic fields such as sports. The Biology Study Program at Diponegoro University continuously supports the holistic development of its students by fostering an environment that encourages achievement across a wide range of endeavors.
