In order to give appreciation to the students participating in the Kedaireka Matching Fund “Smart Modern Sustainable Aquaculture ” Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Prof.Drs.Sapto Purnomo Putro, M.Si, Ph.D as the Coordinator of the MF Kedaireka FSM team at Diponegoro University on Tuesday (27/12) held a special activity entitled “Ceremonial awarding of the Kedaireka Matching Fund MBKM certificate 2022” in the meeting room of the Acyntia Prasada building on the 6th floor of the FSM Undip Tembalang campus. The event was attended by the dean of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Chairman of the Department of Biology, hundreds of students participating in MF Kedaireka and a field organizing team consisting of a number of Field Assistant teams.

Participants of MBKM MF Kedaireka “Smart Modern Sustainable Aquaculture ” were followed by around 120 students across study programs consisting of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics and the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences Undip. At least more than 30 biology students participated and actively supported the implementation of this program. Prof. Sapto who also serves as chairman of the Department of biology explained that the Kedaireka MF activity is expected to help students gain skills so as to support graduate learning achievement (CPL). A series of MBKM activities from the Kedaireka MF Program contributes to supporting the target achievement of key performance indicators (IKU) 2 Diponegoro University. In addition, as a form of appreciation to MBKM student participants, at the Study Program level, it will be converted into a number of course credit achievements that are academically recognized.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Widowati, S.Si as the dean of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics Undip who is also a member of the Kedaireka MF team, he explained that the MBKM activity is an activity launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and technology that students are expected to get an off-campus learning experience. In this MBKM certificate award will be given according to the cluster followed by MBKM student participants. Kedaireka MF Program is in collaboration with partners in Jepara for the implementation of the concept of Smartmodern Aquaculture program. Several cluster workshops organized through MF Kedaireka provide learning about improving Aquaculture Cultivation along with other updated applications such as application implementation and planned cultivation management complete with mathematical modeling that supports smart modern aquaculture applications. Appreciation from Prof. Widowati was given to the entire MF kedaireka organizing team coordinated by Prof. This Sapto. It is hoped that this program can provide double outputs, namely in addition to supporting the achievement of Undip’s main performance indicators, the continued impact may be useful for students, especially related to off-campus learning experiences so as to improve learning outcomes as expected.
