Another proud achievement of the Department of Biology with the inauguration of one of its best faculty staff, Prof. Dr. Erma Prihastanti, M.Si. he was inaugurated as a professor in the field of Plant Physiology through Diponegoro University ceremony on Friday (30/9) yesterday. Prof. Erma is the fifth professor in the Department of Biology with a very proud achievement of the performance of Tri dharma perguruan tinggi.
His expertise in the field of Plant Physiology particularly in “the development of drought-resistant crops in an effort to support sustainable cocoa production” has made an important contribution to society.
With the strengthening of Prof. Erma is expected to be one of the important achievements for the academic community to be more enthusiastic in working and innovating so that the Department of Biology with all the resources it has is able to contribute to the advancement of Science and technology both nationally and internationally.
Prof. Erma is currently carrying out additional duties as chairman of the S2 Biology study Program with various routine agendas, finally she managed to achieve the highest academic achievement as a professor. Congratulations and success to Prof. Dr. Erma Prihastanti, M.Si for the inauguration of a professor, I wish blessings to the academic community of the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Diponegoro University and the community.
