Curriculum Information
The curriculum is a set of programs used as the basis for implementing the learning process in the Biology Undergraduate Program. The Biology Undergraduate Program utilizes a semester credit system, where each learning activity is assigned a semester credit unit (SKS). A Semester Credit Unit (SKS) is a unit used to express the student’s study load, the recognition of student success, the recognition of cumulative success for a particular program, and the significant effort required to provide education for the university and, in particular, for the teaching staff.
Each credit unit (SKS) of lectures represents: 1 x 50-minute scheduled face-to-face lecture, 1 x 60-minute structured activity, and 1 x 60-minute independent activity. Each credit unit (SKS) of practical work represents: 2-3 x 60-minute scheduled laboratory practical work, 1 x 60-minute structured activity, and 1 x 60-minute independent activity.
